Tour dedicated to discovering the architectural beauties of the city of Catania, daily street life and its fascinating local markets. Departure from Taormina with local guide and Bus GT. Once we arrive in Catania, we will begin the guided walking tour, visiting the Cathedral, the Town Hall where inside we will observe some beautiful Sicilian " carretti". We will visit the fruit and vegetable market, we will enter the narrow streets of the center full of colours, flavors and noises typical of the local market. We will cross the Via dei Crociferi, known as the famous Catanese baroque street. We will observe the Bellini house museum from the outside. We will continue our tour with a taste of typical Sicilian specialties that characterize true Catania street food. Small stop in a small historic kiosk to enjoy a non-alcoholic drink known as the "Mandarinetto". Continuation towards the main square to end the tour on a sweet note and taste the typical "minnuzza of S. Agata". Return to the hotel in Taormina in the late afternoon.
